TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please, read the terms and conditions carefully. By using Peppermint website you indicate the acceptance to the terms and conditions listed below.
1. Services
Peppermint (further on referred to as Website) is a website offering sales of clothing items and rental services to their clients. The products for rental include, but are not limited to, women apparel and accessories.
2. Order
By clicking the payment button you agree to finalise the order, and from that moment onwards we consider the deal concluded. You will receive an e-mail notification once the order and the payment have been processed.
The buy order can be cancelled free of charge before the shipment takes place. If the customer cancels the order after the products have been shipped, transport costs (to the customer and return) will be charged.
The rental order can be cancelled free of charge 10 working days prior to shipment date. If the customer cancels the order between 10 and 3 working days prior to shipment date, 50% of the price will be charged. If the customer cancels the order less than 3 working days prior to shipment, 100% of the price will be charged.
3. Prices
All the prices on the Website are including the relevant taxes (VAT). Prices on the Website are denominated in CHF. Promotional codes can be used only once within the indicated period of time and are not cumulative.
4. Payment
Website accepts the payments via credit cards and direct bank transfer. Please, note that the order will be considered as paid after the credit card validation has been completed, or after the money have been transferred to the bank account.
We reserve the right to charge the retail price amount on your credit card in case of extensive damage to the rental product(s), or in case the rental item(s) are not returned to us.
5. Rental Period
Rental period starts when the package arrives at customer’s delivery address and continues until the package is returned to the post. If the products have not been returned, we are entitled to charge additional fees from the customer’s credit card. Additional charges shall be charged a fixed fee of CHF 20 for each day overdue.
If the item(s) are not returned within 15 days, they are considered as non-returned and the retail price amount, minus the paid fixed fee for late return, will be charged.
6. Delivery and Acceptance
Delivery of our products is done by Swiss Post and normally it is a next day delivery. We offer the delivery free of charge with Post A Priority. In case the customer chooses express delivery, CHF 15 additional charge will be applied.
The customer must inspect the product(s) upon the acceptance and notify us within the first day of receipt of any possible defects or damages.
7. Customer’s Responsibilities with regards to Rental Products
The customer must:
– treat the apparel only as specified on the care labels
– immediately notify us if the damage occurs during the hire period
– on termination of the hire, send back all items, in good order as delivered, fair wear and tear accepted
– not transfer rental item(s) to any other parties and keep them in their own possession during the hire period
– not alter or make any additions to rental item(s)
8. Ownership (Rental Products)
All rental products remain in the ownership of Peppermint.
9. Data Protection
All personal data will be treated confidentially. The data necessary for the business processing are stored and passed on to affiliated companies as part of the order processing. The information on addresses can also be used for advertising purposes, however, you can object to this use at any time.
10. Images
All images are owned by Peppermint. Use without express permission is prohibited.
11. Legal
These terms and conditions and any contract to which they apply shall be governed by the laws of Switzerland and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Canton Solothurn, Switzerland.
